[1295.7s] And each of you, wherever you are, are signaled to board the lead airship.
[1303.2s] You climb aboard and you look out ahead of you.
[1307.3s] The camera pans out, and we see our three heroes,
[1313.3s] Flint, Thea, and New Laura, the inspirational decimators of dragons.
[1324.8s] They began their journey together trying to find their own way in the land of Faerûn.
[1331.7s] They set off into the wild, leaving their friends, families, and lives they knew to
[1337.4s] seek a world of adventure, for some, seeking something greater, for others, coming across
[1346.0s] their calling as the evils of the world made themselves known.
[1353.8s] It's been a long road for them to find their own way.
[1362.0s] To get to this point, standing atop the fleet of Waterdeep's lead airship,
[1368.9s] soaring towards a land of darkness and despair.
[1374.7s] The trio has seen and fought all manners of cultists, undead, devils, and dragons.
[1383.8s] But nothing they have done to this point could prepare them for what they are about
[1390.0s] to walk into. We see the faces of our heroes, steely-eyed, looking out at the oncoming storm.
[1404.2s] We hear a rumble ahead as a cyclone is forming and spiraling above the desolate
[1411.7s] sunset mountains. We see lightning crash and hear the rumble of thunder intermix
[1419.4s] with the call of the dracorn coming from deep inside the mountain range. The eerie,
[1426.6s] low rumble that, if not for the task at hand, would stop every person in their tracks.
[1433.4s] Because what it calls can now be seen, rising and circling the infamous well of dragons.
[1443.8s] Wings flapping and roars can be heard echoing off the mountain peaks,
[1449.3s] as if answering the call of the heroes' forces. The call to battle.
[1455.1s] We pan away from the oncoming dragon horde, rushing toward our heroes to see the full
[1461.0s] might of the allied forces of Faerûn. The combination of races marching together
[1468.6s] is not something that has ever been seen at this scale. Elves, humans, dwarves,
[1476.3s] and metallic dragons, treants, lycanthropes, and goblins united together.
[1486.6s] Trained military, homegrown militia, and those here to make sure good will rise with the sun
[1494.2s] on the next day.
[1498.8s] The echoing, percussive steps of the ground troops move in unison with the sound of the
[1504.2s] bard's drums as dwarven siege weapons roll forward like the sound of thunder.
[1512.1s] The cavalry runs wide, closing the ground between them and the enemy forces.

[2192.7s] to one of the entrances to the Well of the Dragons.

[2219.9s] spies from the Harpers in Zhentar.
[2223.8s] The ones along the north and west of the mountain are said to get you
[2231.4s] closest to Tiamat's temple.
[2235.4s] However, you will likely run into the most difficulty getting through those tunnels,
[2243.5s] being as that's where the majority of their forces
[2247.0s] will be found that aren't charging towards us.
[2251.8s] Right, so we don't exactly have the element of surprise happening here.
[2260.0s] We are hoping that you specifically will
[2264.3s] have more surprise than what we have, as they clearly see us coming.
[2270.6s] Right, so we should take the back door.
[2278.6s] Do you, have you sussed out what is the best of the six entrances?
[2283.9s] It sounds like north and west are not
[2286.7s] great options for the three of us going in alone.
[2290.6s] Like I said, they will, they will pose the need for the being the,
[2296.2s] the quietest you can be, or the most efficient in the way you dispatch of anybody you come across,
[2305.1s] where those lead is directly into the temple.
[2310.3s] If you are to enter along the southern face, yes, you will run into fewer forces,
[2318.2s] but you will be farther from the temple's entrance
[2321.2s] and have to make your way across the caldera to the temple.

[2808.3s] You begin nimbly moving through the forces around you.
[2812.5s] You duck underneath giants throwing huge hammers and axes towards the allied forces.
[2823.1s] Up in the air, you see metallic dragons and chromatic dragons
[2827.5s] coming head to head and tearing each other wing to wing.
[2834.2s] The airships begin being attacked by flame breaths from far away
[2839.5s] and quickly they begin to fall.
[2845.6s] You make it through and you are surrounded
[2849.7s] by giants and mercenaries all rushing forward
[2854.8s] as the mass of soldiers focuses on this center point.
[2862.2s] The dwarven artillery begin firing, knocking giants out in front of you.
[2867.5s] Three of you make a dexterity saving throw.
[2869.9s] Nineteen.
[2879.9s] Oh, that was without any bonuses.
[2881.3s] Twenty-one.
[2881.8s] Twenty.
[2883.8s] Not yet.
[2884.7s] Sixteen.
[2886.7s] A giant falls directly in front of you and you nimbly leap up and over top of it.
[2892.2s] Guys, we're so fucking nimble.

[2896.3s] To your left in a heaped mess
[2899.9s] a blue dragon falls to the ground with a bronze dragon on top of it, tearing it apart.
[2909.6s] As the mercenaries begin climbing on top of that same bronze dragon
[2913.9s] and stabbing it, piercing it with their lances.
[2918.3s] High atop a mountain's ridge you see the exiled red wizards
[2923.1s] hurling black and red magics down at the arcane brotherhood
[2928.2s] and the rival red wizards that's colliding in the air.
[2932.3s] And this energy, this necromantic energy, meaning this healing energy is coming together
[2938.7s] and creating explosions in the air that rain down top everybody you are passing.
[2947.6s] You make it to the mountainside, the war raging on behind you
[2954.0s] and you come between the north and the western edge.
[2959.1s] Before we go up there, do we turn around like heroes do to look down at all the fighting
[2964.0s] and where we really feel like what we're doing is so important
[2969.1s] and this is where the gravity of it really sets in
[2971.7s] as we see our kin and our fellow man and beast fighting
[2977.3s] all on the same side against the forces of evil.
[2980.2s] Yeah.
[2983.4s] Yeah, yeah you do.
[2984.6s] I think they really needed that moment to really serious up.
[2990.7s] You have a choice of a very northern entrance, a western entrance
[2999.1s] or scouting around the mountain to go find something else.
[3003.5s] Well, that third option sounds terrible.
[3005.5s] Yeah, no, let's not.
[3006.4s] It doesn't sound like a good option.
[3007.9s] We know where two entrances are already.
[3010.9s] I don't want to go looking for another one.
